Australian International Tango Festival
June 4 to 8 is when the tango community will be gathering in Sydney for the fourth International Tango Festival. Do not miss the opportunity to learn from top tango teachers and world class dancers from Buenos Aires: Cecilia Gonzalez & Donato Juarez, Aurora Lubiz & Hugo Daniel, and Los Macana (The Macana Brothers).

Workshop in Fitzroy North - 5th May
This workshop will focus on musicality and dynamics, looking at
interesting ways of interpreting and expressing oneself with different
types of tango music, using familiar as well as new movements.
The workshop will be suitable for a range of levels, and as usual is
geared towards achieving enjoyable dances in social settings
(practicas and milongas). Complete beginners are welcome.
To better prepare the material for the course and to achieve a gender
balance, please let us know if you are coming.
Time: 7.30-9.30pm, Monday May 5th
Location: J-Studios, 100 Barkly St, Fitzroy North (old primary school
premises, between Nicholson St and St Georges Rd).

One night in Buenos Aires - Stage Show 15th May
Fabio Robles presents One night in Buenos Aires, direct from Argentina.
1 show only in Melbourne at the Copacabana International Theatre located at 139 Smith Street, Collingwood. Doors open from 7pm.
Cocktails available before the show followed by and introduction dance class witht he World Tango Champions.
This will be followed by the main Stage Show for the evening.
There will be a milonga (social dance) with a DJ after the show until late.
